Gunter Claessens is a tenor in The Flamish Radiochoir since 2004.

Before he has been singing in several ensembles like Currende (conducted by Erik Van Nevel), Capella Brugensis (conducted by Patrick Peire), Goeyvaerts Consort (conducted by Marc Michael De Smet), Nederlandse Bachvereniging (conducted by Jos van Veldhoven), Studium Chorale (conducted by Hans Leenders).

Actually he studied garden- and landscape-architecture in Vilvoorde, but he has been singing in choirs since he was 6. He took singing lessons by Rachel Fabry and Lucienne Van Dyck and now still going to private courses by Bart De Kegel
