Samuel has been singing since the age of 6 and has never stopped since. As a boy, he joined the boys' choirs Les Pastoureaux, while taking piano, singing and music theory lessons at the academy. Later, he explored other types of singing in national and internal setting, participating in choirs such as the European Robert-Schuman Chor or Eurochoir.
Today, he pursues a higher education degree in singing at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, and sings in ambitious choirs such as BEvocaL, the Belgian National Youth Choir, BYAC, the Brussels Young Adults Choir, and the Choir of Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.
At 28, thanks to his long experience as a choir member, Samuel has become a proficient and polyvalent barytone. His strong voice and good knowledge of solfège gives him the confidence to act as a leader in his voice groups when needed. Constantly looking for new learning opportunities, he was very excited to join the new project of the Chœur de Chambre de Liège with Joris Derder.
